Ferrari 250 GT Lampredi

308 GTB 3.5L Engine On Dyno
This engine is the smallest of the V-12 Lampredi family displacing 3.0L. It was used in the early 250 GT Europas in 1953-54. The Lampredi engine uses individual intake ports and “inside” plug heads. It is also physically large, some 5” longer then the 3.0L Colombo engine. This example made about
200 HP. The factory claimed 200-220 HP @ 6,300 rpm with 8:1 compression ratio so the numbers seem about right.
